Country Blueberry Cobbler

Makes 6 servings

Blueberries and a buttery sweet crust join in this
down-home dessert that can be made in a flash!

Ingredients

1/4

cup butter or margarine

1

cup all-purpose flour

1

cup sugar

3/4

cup milk

2

teaspoons baking powder

1/4

teaspoon salt

2

bags (10 ounces each) Cascadian Farm® frozen organic blueberries or Harvest Berries, thawed and drained

2

teaspoons finely chopped crystallized ginger, if desired

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Melt butter in 8-inch square baking dish in oven.

  2. Stir together flour, sugar, milk, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Pour batter into baking dish without mixing into butter. Pour berries over batter; sprinkle with ginger.

  3. Bake uncovered 55 to 60 minutes or until top is golden brown.

  4. Serve warm with a cup of Deep Blue Blueberry Gourmet Coffee.
